Lent Outreach Project

Outreach wanted to work on a Lenten project that would focus on Food Insecurity in our area.

 

We will be collecting non-perishable food items, for two area pantries, the Brewer Food Cupboard and the Courage Lives food bank for graduates as they get on their feet after leaving the Courage Lives safe house and are beginning to make it on their own.

 

Each week we will give you an update on the items these locations need. Currently the Brewer Food Pantry is in need of canned soups, canned broth, and cans of creamed corn. These are staples they regularly run low on.

 

If you wish to donate to the Brewer Food Cupboard, please put your canned goods in the basket in the entry to our worship space.  

 

If you wish to donate items to Courage Lives, please put your donation in the box that is next to the basket. We will label them.

 

As always, if you prefer to focus on the Episcopal Relief and Development Fund during Lent, feel free to do so.
