Good Morning.

My name is Laura and I am serving as an AmeriCorps Vista for the volunteer department at Good Shepherd Food Bank.  We are wondering if any members of your congregation are available to volunteer with us.  

We have a tremendous need for volunteer assistance. Our goal is to pack close to 10,000 boxes/month, which means we will need about 170 volunteer hours per week. The boxes of food are for our Senior Program and for our Community Health & Hunger Program. We have shifts available Monday through Thursday 8-4, and Friday from 8-12; all shifts are flexible. 

Currently we allow a maximum of seven volunteers per shift, and volunteers wear masks unless they provide proof of vaccination. 

If you have any questions or would like assistance in registering a group or individuals, I would be delighted to help.
